Imagine being in a bathtub full of body temperature water and epsom salt. There’s so much salt you float like a cork on top of the water. You’re weightless, suspended, gravity does not have its way with you.
What if you were floating on top of the water and you were in total darkness with no sound? Now we’re talking mind separated from the body. Meditation on steroids.
That’s what we talk about with Erin Norin in this interview. She recently experienced a float tank (sensory deprivation tank) and is going to tell us what it was like for her. I’ll also share my recent float tank experience in Atlanta, GA.

Where did you go to float? The only semi legitimate place I could fine was CORE. Are there any other places near the greater atl area?
Hello Bailey,
I floated at flo2s.com. They are working on building the first (to my knowledge) commercial float center in The Atlanta, GA area. It’ll have 2 or 3 tanks. They should be up in a month. And you can still call to schedule. The owner has an awesome tank at his personal residence. Very big house, very nice neighborhood. Walk in tank, nice shower, secluded float room.
I’m working on floating there again in late June. Go to flo2s.com and call the number at the top right of the screen. Edward is the gentleman’s name. Thanks for watching the video and responding! Happy floating.
Hello Bailey,
How was the float experience at CORE?
Great interview 🙂
Nice to hear that Floatation-REST are starting up again in the US.
Hello Stefan,
Glad you enjoyed the interview. It appears you were listening from Sweden? If so, it’s always gratifying to get comments from across the ocean.
Thanks for listening and be sure to share the RSS feed/links.
